The Open Call for the Haringey Feast has now closed. Thank you to the fantastic 76 creative individuals and organisations who applied.

Background

Until Monday 14 August 2023, local creatives were able to submit applications of between £500 to £2,000 to create handmade items or performances in partnership with a local community group, to be used at the Haringey Feast on Sunday 19 November 2023. 

Result

Below are the successful applications through our Open Call who will be engaging with local community groups, schools and the residents of Haringey through free creative workshops.

Open Call panel

Our Open Call panel for the Haringey Feast is made up of creatives and changemakers from Haringey.

Chanel Joseph

Chanel Joseph is an artist, curator, musician and workshop leader, and is currently an assistant producer at Alexandra Palace. She is passionate about acrylics and oils and has been practising these mediums for over 6 years, as well as setting up the creative networking event, Creatively Blessed. 

Chanel has lived in Haringey since she was 11 years old and is keen to build a creatively flourishing environment for the talent that is in the borough.

Kieron Rennie

Kieron Rennie is a creative consultant and performance poet. He was recently named the English National Opera's first-ever creative in residence and worked with the company throughout the 2022-23 season. 

Kieron has led numerous creative workshops in schools and art institutions across the UK, and performed commissioned work at Alexandra Palace, Barbican, City Hall, English National Opera, Lovebox, London Live, National Gallery, Olympic Park, Roundhouse, Tate Britain, Tate Modern, Wilderness Festival, and Queen's Gallery (Buckingham Palace).

Kierra Campbell

Kierra Campbell is the managing director and co-founder of interiors brand Poodle and Blonde and board advisor for creative business directory Made by Tottenham. She was recently announced as being on the Top 100 Female Entrepreneurs to Watch list by The Telegraph and NatWest, catching the attention of Vogue, Sunday Times, Condé Nast and many more. 

Born in Tottenham, Kierra uses her entrepreneurial skills to support both businesses and creatives within Haringey.

Rose Daly

Rose Daly is an art director, designer, and university lecturer for UAL; Central St Martins, London College of Communication and Chelsea College of Arts. In addition, she is the co-founder of Tottenham-based music, arts and culture platform Hale London

As an art director and designer of 18 years, Rose has worked with Sony Europe, Sony BMG, Universal Music, Sanctuary Records Group, Trojan Records, ITV Publishing, EMAP Media Group, and Channel 4.
