Haringey is the borough of creativity, innovation, and progress.

It is the birthplace of broadcasting, the home of Britain’s first ever film studio, the place where the Penny Post stamp was invented and where the man who named our clouds lived and worked. World-renowned musicians and artists are from, and based in, Haringey.  

Haringey Feast is bringing together Haringey’s creators, cultural organisations, and residents to celebrate everything creative our unique borough has to offer. This is building up to a spectacular free celebration of Haringey’s creativity at Alexandra Palace on Sunday 19 November 2023. 

Leading up to the day, free workshops and maker-classes, led by local creatives will be held across the borough - in schools, libraries, care homes, arts venues and community centres and more.

Haringey’s communities will be able to get involved in creating the decorations and performances for the day, from bunting to napkins and everything in-between, bringing people from across the borough to feast in Haringey‘s creativity and enjoy all things made by Haringey.

On the day, large banquet-style tables will be set up in the East Court at Alexandra Palace to welcome guests across three uniquely curated programmes throughout the day. Haringey Feast will feature performances, art, culture and soup, with the recipes having been written by local community groups exclusively for the Feast.
